Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at the Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients with eating disorders and working closely with the multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in general adult psychiatry, with a particular interest in eating disorders. They will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex needs, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide high-quality care.

Benefits

Requirements

  • Mbbs or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with GMC with license
  • Approved clinician status
  • Excellent knowledge of speciality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to meet duties under MHA and MCA
  • Ability to work in and lead a team
  • Participated in research and service provision
