About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Functional Assessor to join our Assessments Division. As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping people move forward with their lives by conducting telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out assessments to understand the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life
  • Produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine eligibility for benefits
  • Work with a diverse range of customers and handle challenging situations
  • Develop clinical knowledge and hone assessment skills
