Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with experience of working on similar projects with comparable project values. A joinery background is highly desirable, and a strong working knowledge of the construction industry is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Health and Safety: Ensure that all works are carried out safely and in accordance with company health and safety policies.
  2. Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, including programme and budget evaluations.
  3. Site Management: Manage onsite labour, chair and attend site meetings, and conduct quality inspections and snagging.
  4. Materials Management: Order and receive materials, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  5. Communication: Maintain effective communication with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, and participate in project meetings.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certifications.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  3. Skills: Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave entitlement.

Location

This is a permanent position based in the Midlands, with travel required to sites across the UK. You must be willing to work flexibly and maintain a high level of mobility to meet the demands of this role.
