About the Role

We are seeking a Dialysis Technician - Patient Care Specialist who will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and education. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with patients and families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

Job Responsibilities

The Dialysis Technician - Patient Care Specialist will:

• 
  
• Provide direct one-on-one patient care to ensure safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment
  
• Educate patients on kidney disease and its management
  
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs and patient observations
  
• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

• 
  
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  
• Be comfortable working around blood and needles and mixing acid or bicarb
  
• Have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  
• Have healthcare experience, preferably in dialysis or a related field
