A prestigious opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Financial Accounting Manager to join a leading manufacturing and engineering business in the UK.
This career-defining role will have a technical focus, with the successful candidate exposed to a range of financial areas and supporting senior finance leadership, while gaining excellent team leadership skills.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of finance professionals, promoting their personal and professional development, and ensuring work is handled efficiently.
- Managing the group consolidation process, ensuring the required level of insight and controls are in place.
- Developing internal accounting systems and processes, driving continuous improvements.
- Harmonizing accounting processes with new acquisitions.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining an internal financial audit and compliance program.
- Supporting ongoing financial planning and analysis activities.
- Reporting to and supporting the Finance Director.
Applicants should be qualified accountants (ACA or ACCA) with a strong desire to progress their careers in a fast-paced and dynamic business. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role requires building relationships across the organization and in multiple locations to ensure a controlled and well-communicated accounting process.
