Job Title: Pupil Support Worker

Job Type: Temporary

Location: Secondary School

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:15am – 3:00pm, Friday: 8:15am – 2:30pm

Pay: £12.90 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Pupil Support Worker to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom.
  • Build strong relationships with students, helping them engage positively with their education.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver targeted support.

About You:

  • Strong behaviour management skills are essential.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive working relationships with pupils.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
