Compaction Driver Opportunity

Ward, an award-winning, independently owned Waste and Recycling business, is seeking a Compaction Driver to join our team at our Ilkeston site. As a Compaction Driver, you will play a key role in our business, transporting materials from our customers to our processing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with your planner and follow daily schedules
  • Liaise with customers and clients on site, maintaining good relationships
  • Conduct thorough pre-start vehicle checks
  • Report any vehicle defects
  • Follow company Safe Operating Procedures
  • Take care of your vehicle
  • Complete daily checks and paperwork
Requirements:
  • LGVCat C License (Class 2)
  • Current DCPC Card
  • Good geographical knowledge
