Storage Engineer - Senior IT Specialist

Stealth iT Consulting is seeking a skilled Storage Engineer to join their team in Cumbria, UK. As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out regular maintenance tasks to ensure storage systems meet availability and performance requirements.
  • Monitoring storage systems and performing upgrades under change control.
  • Racking and cabling hardware, and patching network connections.
  • Working as part of a shift team, covering 2 x 12.5-hour day shifts, 2 x 12.5-night shifts, and 6 rest days.
  • Collaborating with other IT specialists, including network and infrastructure experts.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with storage systems, servers, networks, security tools, and audio visual equipment.
  • ITIL 4 qualification and experience with implementing system modifications via change control.
  • Ability and motivation to learn new IT skills.
