About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Care Assistant to join our High Dependency Transfer team in Leicester. This role involves working closely with paramedics and EMTs to provide critical care and transportation services to patients in need.

The ideal candidate will possess FREC Level 3 and FREC Level 4 qualifications, a recognized blue light qualification, and a full UK clean driving license with at least two years of experience. They will be responsible for assisting qualified practitioners in delivering high-quality clinical and personal care, as well as performing operational duties such as vehicle checks and maintaining knowledge of medical equipment.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Assist qualified practitioners in delivering high-quality clinical and personal care
  • Perform operational duties such as vehicle checks and maintaining knowledge of medical equipment
  • Drive approved ambulance vehicles under normal and blue light circumstances
  • Maintain knowledge of medical and life support equipment
