Quality Auditor Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Auditor Shift Manager to join our team in Thetford.

  • This is a working days position.
  • The hours of work and shift patterns are: 06:00 - 18:00 on a 4on 4off shift rotation.
  • The rate of pay is: £16.40 per hour.
Main Responsibilities:
  • To uphold the food safety, legal, and quality standards of 2SFG, our customers, regulatory bodies, and all other interested stakeholders.
  • To conduct routine and non-routine assessments in the factory environment to ensure compliance to all codes of practice.
  • To coach, train, advise, and support the factory operations teams on matters of non-conformance and deviation to specification.
  • To act as the site Subject Matter Expert on all key technical disciplines.
  • To efficiently manage Quality Auditors to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed on time and in full.

To be the 'go to' factory-based Technical colleague for all queries/issues raised by production or issues unable to be sorted by Quality Auditors on shift.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Solid level of Computer Literacy, Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Quality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Food Safety Lvl 4.
  • Internal Auditing.
  • HACCP Lvl 3.
  • Allergen Management.
  • Root Cause Analysis.
  • Understanding Microbiology.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Dealing with conflict.
  • Assertiveness.
  • Time Management.
  • Junior management/supervisory training course.
