Job Title: Senior Cyber Project Manager

Albany Beck is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Project Manager to join their team and work with a leading Investment Bank in London on a long-term cyber remediation and regulatory mandate programme.

This is a pivotal role, driving large-scale, complex projects that enhance the bank's cyber defence posture while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end management of large, multi-stream cybersecurity remediation projects.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects aligned with regulatory mandates (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, MAS, etc.).
  • Collaborate with CISO, compliance, risk, and audit teams to ensure project objectives are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulators and external auditors, ensuring transparency, compliance, and timely delivery of requirements.
  • Drive governance processes, track project performance, and provide regular status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Apply industry best practices and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management, with a focus on cybersecurity and regulatory programmes within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulatory requirements impacting financial institutions.
  • Proven experience delivering complex cyber remediation and regulatory projects on a global scale.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management at senior levels, including C-suite and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.
