About the Job

At Pertemps Bristol Industrial, we're seeking a skilled Mail Courier to support our partner Royal Mail's busy operation. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and upbeat individual, comfortable working alone and as part of a team.

The role involves starting the day at the local delivery office, where you'll sort and gather the mail needed for your route. You'll then collect your allocated vehicle or trolley and hand-held computer device, detailing your route and tracking your mail. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver letters and parcels to your local community.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and interacting with the community. As a Mail Courier, you'll need to be relatively fit and healthy, able to walk and work in various weather conditions. You'll be required to maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times, ensuring excellent customer service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role is desirable but not essential. You'll need to possess a full UK manual driving licence, with a maximum of six penalty points. Unfortunately, we cannot accept IN/DD/DR/CD endorsements. Additionally, you'll be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.
