Head Waiter

Join the esteemed team at St. James's Hotel and Club as a Head Waiter, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our discerning guests.

• Ensure the effective running of the shift, maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality at all times.
• Function as part of a team that is beneficial to the F&B Team, liaising with managers and chefs to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Supervise restaurant & bar service, ensuring unnecessary delays are minimised and providing a good standard of service to guests.
• Assist and supervise members of staff, demonstrating high levels of customer service and ensuring that all bills have been paid.
• Ensure revenue reconciliation is correct and complete at the end of each shift, and that the restaurant is correctly set up for each shift to the required standard.

• Good communication skills and ability to multitask.
• Previous experience in a similar high-end restaurant, with a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Strong team player with a hunger to learn and lead from the front.
