Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Category Director to lead our food industry efforts and drive category growth through optimal product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer relationships to unlock new opportunities and maximize ROI.
  • Analyse and review key commercial activities related to the customer's category, delivering recommendations for optimal distribution, range, space, and merchandising layouts.
  • Identify customer-specific opportunities and manage own brand innovation ranges.
  • Support budgeting, tracking, and reporting processes for site-based business teams.
  • Drive best-in-class ways of working within the commercial team and foster a collaborative culture.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in Category Management, particularly within FMCG, with a solid understanding of the UK retail landscape.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, engaging and influencing key stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficient with space planning and insights tools like JDA, Nielsen, and Kantar.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a purpose-driven culture.
