Clinical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in managing tracheostomies, including routine care and emergency procedures, is essential for this role.
  • Experience with ventilator settings, monitoring, and troubleshooting is crucial for the success of our client.
  • Competence in recognizing and managing seizures, including medication administration, is a key requirement.
  • Skilled in administering feeds and fluids via a PEG tube, including maintaining hygiene and preventing complications, is a vital skill.
  • Ability to administer and manage prescribed medications accurately is a must.
  • Experience with using cough assist devices and performing suctioning as needed is also required.
  • Knowledgeable in non–invasive ventilation (NIV) and oxygen therapy management is essential for our client's care.
  • Manual handling techniques and using hoisting equipment safely are also necessary skills.

Personal Qualities:

  • Fenwick Healthcare values individuals who enjoy art, music, films, and socialising. A candidate with similar interests or who is comfortable engaging in these activities will be preferred.

Logistical Requirements:

  • A female RN is required for this role to provide personalized care and support.
  • The RN must be able to drive and operate a mobility vehicle for transporting the client safely and efficiently.
  • The RN should be available for shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:15 AM on Fridays and flexible enough to cover annual leave requests.
