Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network architectures that meet the needs of our clients. This role will involve working closely with our technical authors to develop use cases and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authoring service supporting Network Architects.
  • Weekly reports, summarising key tasked activities and outputs generated.
  • Project documentation (PIDs, schedule, design documents etc.) as mandated by the NSoIT(D) governance framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of complex datacentre technologies and experience in producing architecture diagrams from these.
  • Understanding of service management processes and experience in producing information flow analysis diagrams.
  • Understanding of system interdependencies and experience in producing system/sub-system connectivity diagrams.
  • Familiarity with ArchiMate modelling language.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Hold a valid Security Clearance (SC).
