Senior Hepatologist

About the Role

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Hepatologist to join our dynamic department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient services in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will participate in the Gastroenterology Consultant on-call, including out-of-hours GI bleed on-call, and support the delivery of weekend endoscopy lists as necessary. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of a forward-thinking service, sharing your expertise and supporting colleagues in their roles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in gastroenterology and endoscopy, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services. You will be expected to meet all essential criteria, including education and qualifications, experience and knowledge, and management and administrative skills.
