Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Civils work to support the delivery of our customer promise, including tracking and locating blockages in the UG system on the BT network.
- Ensure risk assessments are carried out and all processes are followed regarding permits.
- Reinstate and make good groundworks and accreditations, and utilize heavy machinery, jackhammers, Stihl saws, and wacker plates as needed.
- Provide effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork, and brilliant customer service.
- Prioritize tasks, possess good logical skills, and find the best customer solutions possible.
- Travel to different areas of the country as required.
- Work irregular hours and overtime to achieve our customer service targets when necessary.
- Be medically fit and able to perform a physically demanding job in all weather conditions.
- Work in teams or alone to meet our SLA KPIs set by our partners.
- Be willing to work in other locations within the UK if required, with accommodation provided.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Accreditations:
- NRSWA 01 – 08
- LA – CAT and Genny
- SA004 – Abrasive Wheels
- SAOO2 – PIA Underground Safety (preferred)
- S7 – PIA Sub-Duct and Cable Installation (preferred)
