We are seeking an experienced Information Assurance Analyst to join our team at Spectrum Comm Inc, supporting a new program located in Norfolk, VA.

About the Job:

  • Minimum three (3) years of job-related experience acquired in the field of information assurance and cybersecurity is required.
  • Candidates must undergo annual training and continuing education to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Meeting and maintaining minimum credential requirements as outlined in the Department of Defense (DoD) 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, and the DoD 8140.01 is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Process access requests for various applications, and maintain the database of these records.
  • Handle requests for new access tokens, revokes, and re-issues.
  • Update databases according to established protocols.
  • Manage financial records, develop purchase requests, and track requests using provided applications.
  • Create cybersecurity digital content for the company intranet and employee communications.
  • Develop, review, and guide cybersecurity programs, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
  • Ensure contractor-provided personnel meet the AQL: 100% Compliant requirement.
  • Perform additional tasks related to task 4, paragraphs 5.1 through 5.7.
  • Develop information systems assurance programs and control guidelines based on the RMF and current DoD and DoN A&A standards.
  • Develop, review, and advise on POA&M, new/existing cybersecurity policies, A&A packages, and security controls.
  • Interface and respond to cybersecurity and A&A requirements from Echelon II/III commands, NAO, and FAO.
  • Support command-level cybersecurity inspections and audits.
  • Serve on the command's Configuration Control Board.
