About the Role

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team at RGB Network, a reputable engineering consultancy based in Altrincham. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative design solutions for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial.

This is a full-time hybrid role, offering a blend of office and remote work flexibility. You will be part of a dynamic team of 5 people, contributing to the growth and success of our civils team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing infrastructure designs and planning schemes to meet industry standards.
  • Producing Masterplan concept drawings and general arrangements.
  • Creating drainage, external works, cut and fill analysis of roads/highways designs.
  • Assisting in the preparation of contract documents and specifications.
  • Conducting inspections, surveys, and site supervision.
  • Mentoring junior staff and providing technical guidance.
  • Developing design solutions aligned with client needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in infrastructure drainage or highways design.
  • Experience with Section 278/38 agreements and water industry agreements.
  • Familiarity with drainage standards and guidance.
  • Knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, and Highway standards.
  • Experience in Micro Drainage or equivalent software.
  • Desirable: Experience with Civil 3D software.
