Job Summary

Caval Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee fast track refit works on Leisure & Hospitality projects nationwide. This is a freelance long-term contract role that requires a strong leader to manage site activities, ensure quality standards are met, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and manage RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) documents
  • Coordinate handovers and sign-offs with clients and stakeholders
  • Implement and improve existing procedures to ensure efficient site operations
  • Lead the day-to-day running of site activities, including updating and checking against the construction programme
  • Prepare and manage site documents, such as work orders and purchase orders
  • Ensure the successful completion and handover of sections of work on site
  • Implement inspection and test plans to ensure quality standards are achieved
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and senior management team

Requirements

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
  • 3-Day First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
