Resettlement and Release Planning Manager

At Serco, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resettlement and Release Planning Manager to join our team at HMP Fosse Way. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of resettlement services, ensuring that prisoners have the necessary support and resources to successfully reintegrate into the community upon release.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Resettlement and Release Planning team, ensuring effective delivery of services and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Develop and implement resettlement strategies, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address the needs of prisoners.
  • Manage and oversee the work of third-party providers, ensuring that they are delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of prisoners.
  • Collaborate with the Prison Employment Lead to ensure that prisoners have the necessary skills and qualifications to secure employment upon release.
  • Contribute to the development of the Reducing Re-offending Strategy, working closely with colleagues to identify and implement effective interventions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCSE (Grade 4 or above) in Maths and English Language.
  • Desirable: Leadership and Management Qualification.
  • Experience of delivering activities programmes in a diverse and challenging environment.
  • Experience of managing staff and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent IT, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage workload, and maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
