Financial Clerk

As a School Administrator/Finance Assistant, you will be working in a busy Primary School based in Tamworth, providing comprehensive financial support services.

Aspire People Limited is currently recruiting for a temporary Administrator/Finance Assistant to assist in the provision of the financial services, promote financial probity and value for money, and prepare monthly reports for the business manager.

• Input details onto SIMS, manage budgets, and oversee communications with payroll services.
  
• Answer phones, take messages, type letters and memos, and perform filing, faxing, and photocopying duties.
  
• Deal with parents and pupils, and assist in the provision of financial services.
  
• Promote the highest standards of financial probity and value for money, and prepare monthly reports to present to the business manager.
  

You must have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to pay £47.20 for a new one. A strong background in school finance and proficiency in SIMS are advantageous, but applicants with administration and finance experience in a similar sector will also be considered.

The role is temporary, but there may be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the school. You must be willing to work between the hours of 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. and adapt quickly to new skills.
