About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning Administrator to join our team at David Smith Financial Services, a well-established family-run business in Essex. As a Chartered Financial Planning firm, we provide exceptional financial planning services to our clients, and we aim to make a positive impact in every one of their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative assistance in delivering financial planning services to clients, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  2. Liaise with Financial Planners, Paraplanners, providers, and clients via email, phone, or face-to-face to facilitate smooth client processes.
  3. Obtain policy information from product providers and update records as necessary.
  4. Record and maintain accurate data using our back-office computer system while adhering to compliance policies.

This role is ideal for an administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is looking to progress within the financial planning industry.

Requirements
  • Previous involved administrative experience in a professional services environment, preferably in financial services or a similarly regulated sector.
  • An aptitude for technology and competence with MS Office programs.
