Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a passionate and dedicated Academic Support Assistant to work with children with Autism, ADHD, and MLD in mainstream primary schools in Hackney. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties, assisting with classroom management, and preparing educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assist with classroom management and student supervision
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Prepare and organize educational materials
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback

Requirements:

  • A degree in a creative subject such as Drama, Music, Theatre, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with children and helping them achieve academic success

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Classroom-based role with potential for outdoor activities
  • May involve standing for long periods and occasional lifting of educational materials
