Job Description

At Version 1, we are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Java Practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients. With a strong focus on MicroServices Architectures, powerful front- and backend frameworks, RESTful services, and a wide range of databases, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and develop your skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test Java applications using Spring/SpringBoot framework
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with other developers to identify and implement best practices
  • Participate in Agile delivery with knowledge of CI/CD, building pipelines, testing, and architecture
  • Develop software to meet client needs using Java in the Cloud

Requirements:

  • SC Eligible or Cleared
  • Strong Java development and Unit Testing experience
  • Experience developing fully functioning Java applications based on Spring/SpringBoot framework
  • Scaling, and management using Kubernetes, and Terraform, both in the cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Front End development knowledge/experience in Angular, React, Node or Javascript
