Job Title: Sales Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Sales Estimator to join our team at Bamford Contract Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating architectural metal work components and assemblies, as well as obtaining costs from sub-contract suppliers for finishing operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Estimating architectural metal work
  • Obtaining supplier quotations
  • Managing and maintaining relations with existing customers
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential customers
  • Following up estimates, negotiating and securing orders
  • Liaising with production regarding lead times and delivery schedules
Requirements:
  • Previous manufacturing estimation/costing experience essential
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office etc.
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
  • Minimum of five years' experience developing new business for construction related firms
Salary and Schedule:

£37,000.00-£43,000.00 per year, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
