Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified English teacher to join our team at GSL Education - Chelmsford.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English to Key Stage 3 students and be able to deliver engaging lessons that promote academic excellence.

Estimated Salary: £15,000 per year (approximately £140-£260 per day)

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to Key Stage 3 students, promoting academic excellence, and developing the skills and knowledge of the students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching English to Key Stage 3 students
  • Developing lesson plans and delivering engaging lessons
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Working collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in teaching English to Key Stage 3 students
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
