Procurement Category Manager - Logistics & Distribution

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to lead our Logistics & Distribution category strategy. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of logistics and distribution services for our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy for Logistics & Distribution
  • Lead the procurement process for logistics and distribution services, ensuring best-in-class service and optimal total cost of ownership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet our business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics and distribution services with our business operations
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics procurement, with a strong understanding of category management principles
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and delivery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
