Harris City Academy Crystal Palace is seeking an experienced and qualified teacher to take on a key leadership role in our Religious Education department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching GCSE, as well as experience in leadership and staff development.
Job OverviewThe Academic Director - Religious Education will be responsible for leading and managing the subject area, ensuring a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum is implemented. This includes creating a safe and protective environment for students, fostering a culture of collaboration and best practice among staff, and contributing to the overall success of the academy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Religious Education department, overseeing curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.
- Develop and implement strategies to raise student attainment and achievement in Religious Education.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and best practice among staff, promoting professional development and sharing expertise.
- Create a safe and protective environment for students, adhering to the academy's policies and procedures.
We are seeking a qualified teacher with:
