Job Title - Datacentre Infrastructure Specialist

Locations: Ipswich, London or Cheltenham

Competitive Salary + £5k DV Bonus + 10% Employer Pension contribution

This role requires DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be hands-on in all aspects of the design, build, deployment and support of customer facing systems.
  • Work within existing monitoring, observability and security frameworks to achieve our customer's requirements.
  • Have experience integrating systems, networks or software in on-premises environments.
  • Be experienced in providing 3rd or 4th line support to production datacentre environments
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture, empowering others through coaching and development using modern software development methodologies.
  • Deliver, coordinate and prioritise activities, responding positively to challenges, using your technical expertise to support you and those around you.
  • Have experience with VMware technologies such as Cloud Foundation, vSAN or NSX-T.
  • Work with monitoring and observability solutions such as CheckMK, Telegraf or Prometheus.
