About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge software systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using various programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our software solutions remain competitive.
Requirements
  • Proficient in current Java and other languages such as Python.
  • Experience of developing on Linux.
  • Thorough understanding of mocking up and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit (Jupiter).
  • Experienced with Git version control.
  • Knowledge of Agile Development using SCRUM.
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members.
  • Experience in Oracle/ Relational Databases and/or Mongo.
  • Experience in GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Apache NiFi.
  • Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript & React.
  • Experience of Elasticsearch and Kibana.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate.
  • Proficiency in the use of Atlassian Suite - Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
