Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Teledyne UK Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering complex systems projects from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to project teams.
  • Develop and implement engineering management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with ECSS standards for front-end electronics and payload systems.
  • Manage technical risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation and capture activities.
  • Deliver system bids and write technical proposals.
  • Configure control of technical aspects of products and projects.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Broad knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and avoid scope creep.
  • Good technical presentation and document writing skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in the space industry, preferably on space systems projects.
  • Opto-mechanical design experience.
  • Space electronics experience.
  • Experience with ECSS standards, particularly for front-end electronics and payload systems.
