About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at a Good rated, modern, purpose-built Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of patient care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality perioperative care to patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and execute procedures for ordering, receiving, and transferring blood and blood products, as well as blood conservation practices.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, professionalism, and compassion, upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Theatre Manager and other team members to maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to Health and Safety/Risk management protocols.

Requirements

  • Part 1 registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner with experience in Scrub or Anaesthetics.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current research and developments in theatre practice, with a sound understanding of Health and Safety/Risk management principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
