Finance Insights Specialist

About the Role

As a Finance Insights Specialist, you will work within our Insights team of corporate data automation and transformation specialists to deliver intelligence projects to a varied client-base. You will also assist with the support requirements of existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver intelligence projects to a varied client-base
  • Assist with the support requirements of existing clients
  • Combine technical accounting knowledge with an ability to translate reporting requirements into tangible reporting solutions
  • Work with Microsoft Power BI (or a similar business intelligence tool) to create data visualizations and reports
  • Develop strong data modelling skills, ETL skills, and DAX knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of key financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting
  • Face to face client meetings will be part of this role
Requirements
  • Accountant (either Qualified or Qualified By Experience) with at least two years' experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI (or a similar business intelligence tool)
  • Strong data modelling skills, ETL skills, and DAX knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of key financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
