About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our vibrant team at a high-achieving Catholic secondary school in West London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging English lessons that spark curiosity, promote critical thinking, and foster a love for reading and writing.

  • Captivating the Classroom: Design and deliver interactive English lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Nurturing a Love for Language: Challenge and inspire students to develop a deep appreciation for different literary genres and communication styles.
  • Building Strong Foundations: Implement effective strategies to develop students' reading comprehension, writing skills, and analytical thinking abilities.

Requirements:

  • A qualified English teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
  • A demonstrable passion for English Language and Literature and a commitment to inspiring a love for the subject in young people.
  • Excellent subject knowledge across all aspects of English, including grammar, vocabulary, literature, and creative writing.
  • Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated English lessons.
