We are currently recruiting an ambitious Culinary Expert to help us create exceptional food experiences for Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service, as well as experience supervising a team in a similar role. A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent is also desirable.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets our clients' expectations
  • Overseeing menu changes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and implementing effective solutions
  • Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to maintain kitchen efficiency
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a flexible approach to working and opportunities for career progression.
