Mechanical Fitter Role

P+S Personnel are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter to work in a dynamic team based in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying, dismantling, and assembling mechanical equipment to the highest industry standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working in a modern, open-plan manufacturing environment as part of the Survey/Fitting team.
- Collaborating with other departments, including Mechanical Fitters, Wire Persons, and Engineering staff.
- Supporting operational requirements for the MoD in the UK and/or overseas, as needed.
- Occasionally assisting Field Service Engineers on outwork in the UK or overseas.
- Pressurised role requiring tight time schedules.
- Provided with specific tools, but hand tools must be supplied by the candidate.
- Undertaking comprehensive training to become a skilled Mechanical Fitter.
