About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Science Cover Teacher to join our team at an outstanding rated school in the heart of Southampton, Hampshire.

The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different teaching requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Ensure students stay on track with learning objectives.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt to teaching various subjects as required by the school.
Qualifications & Experience
  • QTS is desired but as a minimum previous experience teaching Science and hold a degree in the subject.
  • Experience in a classroom setting is desirable, though not essential.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
