We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our code department and become the DevOps specialist within a small team.

As the Senior DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure, implementing automation frameworks, establishing robust CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing performance and security measures.

This role is based at our headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success.

We believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration and encourage working from our headquarters. However, we understand that flexibility matters, so we're open to discussing hybrid options based on individual needs.

Key Outcomes:

  • Maintaining the highest SLA uptimes
  • Consolidation, improvement and expansion of our cloud infrastructure offering
  • Increased visibility of cloud estate and health metrics
  • Greater control and management of infrastructure for production

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively deploy, manage and monitor Cloud infrastructure in a LiveOps environment
  • Scoping, design and implementation of cloud architecture
  • Implement, maintain and consolidate cloud testing and automation tools
  • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures
  • Incident management and root cause analysis
  • Working with our code and build teams to ensure a streamlined workflow

Requirements:

  • Experienced with version control systems like Perforce and git
  • A knowledge of creating and maintaining logging, monitoring and incident response technologies
  • Experienced with Infrastructure as Code technologies (AWS/Azure)
  • Experienced containerising applications and maintaining containerised infrastructure (ECS, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes etc)
  • Familiarity with CI / CD systems like Jenkins, GitLabCI, CircleCI etc
  • Experience with Pulumi is desirable
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft PlayFab is an advantage
