Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our SAP Technical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the provisioning and ongoing support of enterprise SAP environments within the Azure ecosystem.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop the technologies and infrastructure that you will be supporting in BAU. You will oversee the design, maintenance, and monitoring of systems using Azure capabilities, as well as configuring hybrid connectivity between on-site systems and the cloud environment.

• Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment hosting SAP technologies, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
• Collaboratively develop and implement robust security best practices using Microsoft technologies with internal/external parties.
• Review and maintain highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance.
• Develop and run infrastructure as code (IaC) pipelines leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments.
• Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
• Develop monitoring dashboards and implement alerting for critical processes using Azure tooling.
• Review and administer policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of O/S patching using WSUS and CVE remediation.

• Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Contract Details: Monday to Friday, however some flexibility may be required depending on business needs
• Contract Hours: Full time
