Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coder to join our team in Cheadle, Manchester. As a Clinical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of clinical coding data, supporting the business in making informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately and efficiently code patient data using ICD10 and OPCS4 classifications
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of national clinical coding standards and conventions
- Collaborate with the coding team to ensure high-quality coding and data quality improvement
- Provide support and guidance to trainee clinical coders and deal with complex coding queries
- Minimum of 2 years clinical coding experience at NHS Foundation level, ideally ACC
- Full understanding of ICD10, OPCS and the impact of HRGs
- Detailed knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy and coding procedures
- NCCQ required but not a necessity if at least 3 years experience coding a range of specialities in the NHS
