Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Expert to join our team in Glasgow, Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years post-qualification experience and be qualified as a CA/ACA.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, report, and advise on developments in accounting standards and their implications for the Group.
  • Oversee the project management of implementing new standards across the Group, including developing statutory disclosures and integrating them into financial reporting systems.
  • Review Capex and reportable contracts that require Corporate approval in line with the Group Delegation of Authority.
  • Manage the process and timetable for external regulatory reporting, including Interim and Annual reports, UK subsidiary accounts, and ESEF reporting.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP & IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in management reporting, preferably at a FTSE250.
  • Experience in statutory reporting and subsidiary statutory accounts.
