Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our Adult Emergency Department team. This exciting opportunity allows you to work in one of the busiest emergency departments in the country, providing senior care and leadership within the department.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £110,000 - £145,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care and leadership within the Adult Emergency Department
  • Work collaboratively with the existing team of Consultants in Emergency Medicine to achieve and sustain the highest standards of emergency medical care
  • Contribute to the development of the Scottish Trauma Centre Network and support its implementation in the West of Scotland Major Trauma Network
  • Participate in education and research activities, contributing to the academic and clinical skills area of the department

Requirements:

  • FRCESM (or equivalent) and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register
  • Full GMC Registration and a license to practise
  • Experience of working in Emergency Medicine and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
