Head of Facilities Management

We are seeking an experienced Head of Facilities Management to lead our Estates maintenance service at Whipps Cross Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Barts Health NHS Trust team and play a key role in delivering high-quality estates services that meet the needs of patients, staff, and the public.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical operational leadership and strategic direction for all engineering, infrastructure, and building activities undertaken on the acute hospital site.
They will support the Hospital Director of Estates & Facilities in delivering all strategic objectives, including the coordination of capital, project, and backlog programmes.
Main Responsibilities- Provide technical operational leadership and strategic direction for all engineering, infrastructure, and building activities.
- Support the Hospital Director of Estates & Facilities in delivering all strategic objectives.
- Coordinate capital, project, and backlog programmes to ensure technical standards are met.
- Educated to degree level in building services related engineering or a related discipline.
- Evidence of relevant Continued Professional Development (CPD).
- Experience of managing a hospital estates maintenance service.
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
