About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Equine Field Support Manager. As a key member of our Farm and Equine Sales team, you will provide expert veterinary support to our customers and colleagues, focusing on our Equine product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the UK market with technical input to achieve budgeted Equine sales
  • Deliver the central therapy area strategy locally
  • Provide technical support to the central and local marketing teams to ensure strategy, tactics, and marketing materials are relevant, technically accurate, and address market requirements
  • Maintain regular contact with the market to understand technical needs
  • Provide technical and business support to key customers in the UK
  • Present technical information to key customers and universities
  • Provide technical support at congresses, exhibitions, and CPD events
  • Liaise and maintain regular contact with relevant Key Opinion Leaders and internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle technical enquiries in a timely, efficient, knowledgeable, documented, industry compliant, and courteous manner to provide an excellent level of internal and external technical service
  • Provide input into internal IT systems containing technical information to ensure the systems are up-to-date, accurate, organized, and data can be conveniently extracted
  • Provide technical training and develop modules on therapy areas, existing Dechra products, new products, or new indications to ensure Dechra staff and customers have sound product understanding
  • Support project teams by providing relevant technical information during the development phase of new products
  • Provide professional, in-field support to the Farm and Equine Sales team and our customers relating to our Equine product portfolio

Requirements

  • Current relevant working experience in Equine practice or the Equine Animal Health Industry
  • Ability to develop key and beneficial relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent commercial networking approach to enable the growth of the business
  • Ability to structure and organize effectively and deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Evidence of continuing professional development in Equine Medicine
  • Willingness to travel in both UK and Europe
  • Ability to work Monday and Thursday
