Teaching Mathematics to secondary school students at Teaching Personnel, fostering a love for learning and helping them build confidence in the subject, is a highly rewarding role.
This position involves delivering engaging, high-quality Maths lessons, using diverse teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and assessing, tracking, and reporting on students' progress and achievement. We are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher who can create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum, ensuring that students meet their full potential.
- Use diverse teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches.
- Assess, track, and report on students' progress and achievement, providing constructive feedback to inform future lesson planning.
- Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages active learning, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to departmental goals and initiatives, and supporting the development of other teachers.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career progression and professional development. If you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum, we would be delighted to hear from you.
- Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level, with a track record of improving student outcomes.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, and a passion for teaching Maths.
