In this role, you will play a key part in our South Coast broking team, responsible for implementing placement strategies that safeguard businesses and drive growth. Your primary focus will be on cultivating strong relationships with underwriters and carriers to negotiate the most favorable terms, ultimately enhancing our market position.
Your Impact
- You will work closely with account handlers and account executives to advise on broking strategy and lead negotiations with insurers to secure placement solutions.
- You will collaborate with new business producers to position opportunities with insurers effectively, improving our success rate and market position.
- You will engage with insurers to manage pipeline opportunities, build internal and external networks, and provide feedback to inform market insights and service delivery.
About You
- You have previous experience as a Placement Broker or a related role.
- You are familiar with Property, Liability, and Fleet insurance packages.
- You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to travel within the region.
- You hold or are working towards relevant Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications, such as Cert CII/Dip CII, and have a GCSE standard education or equivalent.
- You are able to recognize potential risks and seek advice when necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 25 days' holiday, a defined contribution pension scheme, life insurance, income protection, and more.
