Athona Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Adult Mental Health Specialist to join their team in the West Midlands. This is a full-time role on a 12-24 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality mental health care to adults in the community
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
  • Contribute to the development of mental health services and policies

Requirements:

  • Primary medical qualification
  • Full GMC registration
  • Commitment to personal programme of Continuing Professional Development
  • Significant experience of psychiatry
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to clinical audit and quality improvement within multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work creatively within multi-disciplinary team
  • Willingness to be involved in management of service
  • Able to travel
  • Full driving licence
