Job Summary

Brightwork Limited is currently recruiting a Laboratory Manager to lead our research and development team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company and contribute to cutting-edge projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures in line with Company guidelines.
  • Oversee laboratory equipment, facilities, and resources to support research and development activities.
  • Manage laboratory budgets and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure laboratory maintenance and repairs are performed as scheduled.
  • Monitor laboratory performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with research teams to provide laboratory support and expertise.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry).
  • Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GLP, GMP).
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.

The salary for this position is approximately £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience. Brightwork Limited offers a rewarding work environment and opportunities for career advancement.
